NANO BROWS: Nano brows are created using a hand help permanent makeup machine to create hair like strokes using only one very fine needle. The results are very similar to microblading but last a significantly longer period of time.

POWDER BROWS: Powder Brows is an avenue of permanent make-up used to make brows look more distinct, defined and full, but not in the same way as microblading, which is much more natural looking. Powder brows achieve the look as if you applied powder directly to the brows to have a more shaped and filled in appearance.

HYBRID/COMBO: The best of both worlds, combo/hybrid brows are created by combining hair strokes and machine shading (powder brows). It provides the appearance of hair strokes along with added density from shading to provide very natural results.

MICROBLADING:  a manual method of permanent makeup that replicates the look of natural hair growth in the eyebrow where individual hair-like strokes are ‘bladed’ in the same direction as the existing hair to create the appearance of a full and natural brow. A delicate hand tool with tiny needles is used to insert pigments into the surface layers of the skin.

LAMINATION/TINT: Brow lamination is a non-invasive eyebrow procedure which lifts, straightens, and optionally tints each individual hair. But unlike with permanent makeup, the artist works with your natural eyebrow hairs only, without depositing any pigments under the skin or attaching extensions.

EYEBROW TOUCH UPS: Touch up services are available to existing clients during the period of 2 months and 3 years after the initial service performed by Allyson

COVER UP/CORRECTION:  Correcting unwanted brow colors typically involves using corrective pigments to bring back a more natural look to the brow tattoo that has gone off track, the goal being to neutralize the excessively warm or cool pigments and make them look natural again.

"She was the first person I ever met that could fill and shape my brows without me hating theM afterward"

I have trusted Allyson with my brows since I first moved to Sonoma County in 2014. She was the first person I ever met that could fill and shape my brows without me hating theM afterward :). So when she started micro blading, I trusted her COMPLETELY to give me beautiful semi-permanent brows. I highly recommend her for any beauty and brow services you may need.

JAMIE E.

"ALLYSON IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!"

Allyson is ABSOLUTELY amazing! I’ve been going to her for my eyebrows for around three years now, and there’s no one else that I would trust with my face. I always wanted to get microbladed, and as soon as Allyson started offering microblading, I was sold. I love my eyebrows, and microblading has given me so much more confidence. You can tell that she’s passionate about her work, and truly cares about making others happy. Another thing to note is that Allyson is an absolute angel, and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, which is really important to me when it comes to having someone do my eyebrows. (It’s hard when someone doesn’t make you feel comfortable, especially when they’ve got your face in their hands) I trust this woman with my brows and my life, and will always recommend her.

REBECCA K.

"MY GIRL ALLYSON BROUGHT THEM BACK JUST BEFORE I STARTED CHEMO"

"IF YOU KNOW ME, YOU KNOW I HAVE NO BROWS. MY GIRL allyson, brought them back for me just before i started chemo and everyone always mentions how natural they look. you have no idea how great it feels not to have to draw them on! Her prices are GREAT! she's nothing but good vibes and her office is nice, clean and professional. I would 100% recommend reaching out to her. She loves what she does and it shows in her work."

TIANA N

“SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB AND BROUGHT BACK A SENSE OF NORMALCY TO HOW I LOOKED BEFORE CHEMO"

I was extremely nervous to get microblading done, but was in desperate need after undergoing chemotherapy and losing my eyebrows. A friend had been to Allyson and raved about her. After analyzing the job she did on my friend, I decided to take a chance. I’m so glad I did because she did an amazing job and brought back a sense of normalcy to how I looked. I’ve since been to her a few more times for touch-ups. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Allyson.

No, we want to work with as much of the existing hair as possible. Once I finish drawing your brow shape, I will ask you for permission to remove any hair outside of the agreed shape. EVERY HAIR COUNTS!

On the surface of the skin, it takes approximately 14 days to ‘heal’. It is imperative during this time that you let the skin naturally exfoliate. This means keeping the face out of direct sun, water, sweat, steam, etc. Once the flaking period is complete, the result will appear lighter and the true color will come out after four weeks. As long as you’re good at following the aftercare instructions, there shouldn’t be a problem going to work or being out in public.

Permanent makeup on the brows typically last one to two years for most people before they need a touch up. Cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered semi-permanent and will not wash off — however, they will fade over time and may need to be refreshed every 18 months to 24+ months. Those who do not follow pre-care or after-care instructions properly may require more frequent microblading touch-ups.

My goal is to help the transition from lack of brows to beautiful brows be easy and uneventful. So don’t worry, they will look great! They may be a little darker for a couple of days, but you shouldn't experience any peeling, scabbing, redness and will only have very minimal swelling that dissipates throughout the day of your appointment. You can go out to dinner the same day — just try and avoid alcohol because it can negatively impact the healing process, and worse of all, it leads you to make questionable decisions like touching your eyebrows with dirty hands!

How will my eyebrows look right after the procedure? do I need to go home and hide for a couple of days?

Touch-ups are done between 3 and 6 weeks after your initial procedure (no later than twelve). If you do not schedule your eyebrow tattoo touch-up within twelve weeks, you essentially will be ‘starting over’ as most of the color will not stay. On top of that, you will be required to pay more when you do come back. At the second appointment, we assess the color retention and make adjustments as necessary. Everyone heals differently and at different rates. If your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly the first time, do not worry! We can always go bolder and add more density as well as correct any irregularities in the brow during this time.

Is the second appointment really necessary?

Microblading

-Nano brows are a treatment for the eyebrows that creates the look of natural volume, fills in sparse patches, and modifies the shape of the arches into your dream brows. It’s a form of cosmetic tattooing and it’s done by implementing pigments into the surface layer of the skin, so not as deep as traditional tattooing.

-As the name suggests, the treatment is done with a nano needle, a needle so thin it mimics the diameter of a brow hair and a device similar to a tattoo machine. This treatment only reaches the connection of the 1st and 2nd layer of the skin, going very shallow under its surface. This allows the skin to gradually fade the pigments through its natural exfoliation cycle.

-The results stay visible for 1.5 to 2.5 years, at which point they’ll fade away if left untouched. The colors used are formulated in such a way that the body breaks them down and they’re dissolved, which allows you to modify the look every once in a while instead of being stuck with it forever.

-Nano brows are created over 2 sessions – the initial implementation, and the 4-8 week touch up. The 1st treatment takes about 1-2 hours, depending on how much work is done. Some clients need more strokes, some need fewer. If the brows are created from scratch, the treatment will probably take even longer. The 2nd session is shorter. This is an opportunity to assess how the brows have healed and add more pigments where necessary – some of it will have faded during healing.

-Nano brows are a cosmetic tattoo that gives natural volume and shape to sparse eyebrows. The treatment uses a thin needle to implant pigments into the top layer of the skin. The results last for 1.5 to 2.5 years and fade gradually.

NANO BROWS

- A manual method of permanent makeup that replicates the look of natural hair growth in the eyebrow.
- Individual hair-like strokes are ‘bladed’ in the same direction as the existing hair to create the appearance of a full and natural brow. A delicate hand tool with tiny needles is used to insert pigments into the surface layers of the skin.

-The results can last anywhere from 12 months up to 24 months depending on the skin type and lifestyle.
- A touch-up every 12-18 months is recommended. Skin that is firm, normal/dry, with small or invisible pores is ideal for this technique.
-Unfortunately this technique is not suitable for very oily, sun-damaged, or extremely sensitive skin.

MICROBLADING

- What if the microblading effect is simply not the way you want your eyebrows done? What if you prefer the look of wearing brow powder to pencil strokes? Or, your skin type is not suitable for microblading?

- Powder Brows is an avenue of permanent make-up used to make brows look more distinct, defined and full, but not in the same way as microblading, which is much more natural looking. Powder brows achieve the look as if you applied powder directly to the brows to have a more shaped and filled in appearance.

- A fully shaded technique using a PMU tattoo machine that replicates the look of makeup-almost like a soft eyeshadow. The intensity of this look can be modified based on the client’s personal preference, ranging from soft and airy to bold and dense. Powder Brows are best for clients who want a well-defined, filled-in brow. It is good for all skin types, especially for clients with oily skin with large pores.

- Powder brows (aka shading) is a bolder, more defined look when compared to microblading. This technique is done by using a machine made for tattooing the sensitive and thin skin of the face to insert pigments into the top layers of the skin using a ‘dotting’ technique, or pixelization.
As a result, a powdery eyebrow effect is achieved, and misty, powdered brows are created. The technique is similar to microshading, but the results are more dramatic.

- Where does the ombre come in? Ombre does not speak to a technique but is a term related to color. With ombre brows, the tails of your brows tend to be darker, and the very front of your brows are often lighter, giving the appearance of a gradation of color. It is meant to mimic the density of natural eyebrow hair growth, fuller toward the tail and more sparse toward the front of the brow.

POWDER/OMBRE

-Hybrid/Combo Brows are created by nano/microblading hair strokes combined with machine shading. This technique is quickly becoming a highly sought-after option to create natural-looking brows that reduce the need for makeup.

-Hybrid Brows are essentially a variation of Combination Brows. With Hybrid Brows only the ‘front’ of the eyebrow has hair-like strokes, where the rest of the brow is completed with the powder brow technique. Hybrid brows work well for clients who like something in between a natural and made-up looking brow and like the Ombre brows.

-Depending on skin type, combo brows are often the most ideal service for clients with minimal brow hair. It provides the appearance of hair strokes along with added density from shading to provide the most realistic results.

-As with microblading, this is not suitable for all skin types. A touch-up every 12-18 months is recommended.

hybrid brows

-Correcting unwanted brow colors typically involves using corrective pigments to bring back a more natural look to the brow tattoo that has gone off track, the goal being to neutralize the excessively warm or cool pigments and make them look natural again.
The good news is that beautiful improvements can be seen as soon as in the first color-correcting session, although in some cases it may take a couple of weeks for the color to fully settle.

-How long the process takes depends on how intense the color is. Lighter colors, such as orange, are quicker to fix, while darker, such as blue, require a bit more patience on both the artist’s and the client’s side.

-As you can imagine, not all disaster brows are equally good candidates for color correction. However, there are some situations generally considered to be more convenient for color correction than others, and they all have one thing in common — low saturation of old pigments.
The best possible scenario for color correction is when a brow tattoo has faded significantly, ideally 70% or more.

-There are also many types of correction, not just color. It can be the shape, the very style, or other aspects, but every client’s needs are different. The process really becomes more to do with creating a brand-new look or making adjustments – minor and major to get the look that you want.

-This is done by combining several techniques and methods, including lightening the original ink or pigment. Then, the artist will create a new shape if necessary, determine and use the pigment that is most suited for your desired look, and most of all – make sure that it will be far more superior than the microblading work you were not satisfied with.

COVERUP + CORRECTION

-Not quite sure about the commitment that goes along with microblading? Brow lamination might be just the thing for you! Utilizing the natural/existing eyebrow hair, the brows are groomed & shaped to appear fuller and more defined.

-The procedure lifts and smooths brows with the goal of creating sleeker, neater and fuller-looking eyebrows. While the result is similar to the look of applying brow gel, it can last up to two months.

-It involves coating the brows with two different chemicals: a relaxing cream and a setting solution. These chemicals allow the brow technician to brush the brows upward and "set" the hairs in this new direction. Laminated brows tend to have a fuller appearance without bare or thin spots.

-There are many pluses to lamination as well.
I-t’s a fairly quick procedure. Getting your brows laminated typically takes an hour or less at the salon.
-It provides long-lasting results. Eyebrow lamination can last up to two months, so you don't need to go to the salon every week or even every month.
-It can create the illusion of thicker brows. The procedure offers a way to visually fill in sparse or thinning brows.
-No needles or tattooing are required. Unlike microblading, brow lamination doesn't use needles or puncture the skin.
-It’s much cheaper than microblading. Of course, microblading does last for years instead of months.

lamination

-Lash lifts are the new buzzy beauty treatment: a cheaper, more natural-looking, low maintenance alternative to lash extensions. Essentially a modern version of the lash perm and tint, the treatment makes the most of your natural lashes

-No extensions are involved here – just your natural lashes which are given a new shape.
A lash lift is essentially a perm for your lashes that offers eye-popping results by creating a natural curl and lift to your lashes. The lash lift process creates a natural eye-opening lash swoop that lasts for several weeks. The most popular version of the treatment involves both a lash lift and tint, so the hairs are also colored into a darker shade.

-The lash lift will not damage your lashes, provided you follow pre- and post-treatment care as instructed.
-The treatment is not painful, however it may feel strange, and you'll have to keep your eyes shut for the duration of the treatment (approximately 45 minutes).

-You can keep lashes fluffy and tangle-free by brushing through them with a wand daily.
-Results differ on each person, as nothing is being added to your lashes like extensions, but rather your own lashes are being uplifted.

EYELASH LIFT

CLASSIC
-
Classic lash extensions are a type of eyelash extensions applied on a 1:1 ratio, which means one extension is attached to one natural lash. They are the most traditional and popular style because the results look natural, they are not heavy to the eye and, if done properly, they won’t damage your natural lashes. They come in different materials as well as length, thickness, and curl type.

HYBRID
-Hybrid lash extensions are the perfect combination of two styles – classic lashes and volume lashes – to create a customized, more natural look. Classic lashes, which are added in some spots for length and volume lashes are added for more density and fullness.
So, hybrid lashes are classic lashes and volume lashes are mixed to give length and volume to sparse lashes. The result? Wispy, textured lash extension look that looks more natural than volume look.

VOLUME
-Volume lashes are a type of extension in which small fans of usually 2-6 lashes are applied to one of your natural lashes creating thicker and fuller ‘volume’ lashes. These lashes are finer and lighter than classic lashes, meaning they aren’t as heavy and therefore less damaging and give a more dramatic look to the eyes.

EYELASH EXTENSIONS

-Lash enhancement, or invisible eyeliner as it is often called, involves tattooing an ultra-thin black line along the top lash line to create the illusion of fuller, darker, thicker lashes. The result is a natural, youthful, eye-opening effect. Depending on your preference, the bottom lash line can also be subtly tattooed.

-It is the most subtle and the most sought-after style, since it suits all eye shapes and ages,  It is done by either drawing an extremely thin line that blends into the lashes or using the so-called dotting technique, which means injecting a dot at the base of each individual lash.

-
The line follows the lashes from one corner of the eye to the other, giving an illusion of darker, thicker lashes, like you have more natural lashes than you actually do, without looking like you’re wearing a ton of makeup.

-This is a form of cosmetic tattooing, so it doesn’t last forever. Unlike traditional body art tattooing, permanent makeup is done with PMU pigments, not inks, which the body can break down and eventually fade into invisibility. The pigments are injected shallow into the skin, so the treatment isn’t as invasive as traditional tattooing.

-Of all eyeliner techniques, this is the most natural and conservative as the color is placed within the lash line, not on top. It is a great place to start if you’re looking for your eyelashes to appear fuller, rather than lined. A yearly touch up is recommended.

EYELASH LINE ENHANCEMENT

-Permanent Eyeliner eliminates the need to apply eyeliner with makeup, and can be done on the upper and lower lash line. It can also be done more subtly which is called lash enhancement.
-The treatment is always done with a topical anesthetic which numbs the area and eliminates pain as much as possible.
It may not be the most comfortable thing in the world having someone poke around your eyes with a buzzing machine, but it’s over relatively quickly, and it’s all worth it considering you’ll be waking up with on-point eyeliner for a couple of years.

-Permanent eyeliner is a PMU (permanent makeup) treatment that involves using a specialized tattoo machine to implant pigment on the lash line to replicate the look of eyeliner. The treatment, also known as an eyeliner tattoo, can be applied in a variety of styles, including larger strong wings, light lash enhancements, or smokey looks in many colors.
-Many people opt for a permanent eyeliner treatment because it adds definition to the lash line – which can be great for those who have lost their lashes or want a subtle enhancement. Alternatively, a bolder eyeliner look can save time for those with busy lifestyles and looks great for holidays – no more smudged eye makeup! The treatment is very popular with clients who may struggle to create symmetry in their makeup due to shaky hands or loss of vision.

-Permanent eyeliner can last between 3-5 years. This can change depending on age, lifestyle, skin type, etc. As with all PMU, it is recommended that you have a color boost every 18 months to keep your liner looking fresh.

pmu eyeliner

Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattooing procedure that uses colorful, natural pigments to enhance your lips’ natural color, shape, and definition.
It is a version of lip tattooing that gives the lips a soft and natural-looking tint.

-The process enhances your lips and creates a definition without harsh lines. It’s a versatile option, offering subtle enhancements that can be tailored to individual preferences and skin tones.

-The treatment is quick, long-lasting, and requires zero downtime. Also known as aquarelle lip blushing, a lip blush tattoo helps enhance your natural lip color and shape by creating the illusion of fullness. This soft tattoo technique works by adding color to the skin for a healthy flushed look. The result is a bright and youthful appearance to the lips – a velvet lip blush.

A Few Benefits;
-Lip blush technique builds collagen: The microneedling technique naturally helps build collagen and elastin into your skin.
-Lip blush reshapes and redefines: Reshape and redefine the edges of the lips. You can make them appear balanced, symmetrical, and larger if desired.
